Cherokee Waterfall Campground is located in Cherokee NC, just 3 miles from the casino here and its also very close to the GSMP. The road to the campground is paved all the way to both campsites but you will be parking your camper on gravel. There is paved parking for your cars or bikes!
I now have two camping options for you to pick from or reserve the entire campground! The campsites are around 100yd away from each other with vegetation and trees in between so you more or less cant see one site from the other. They both have private bathhouses with full size flushing toilet and hot shower. Each site also has full hook ups with 30 amp for campers but tents are always welcome or a combination of the two!
NEW this year! I'm offering a glamping camping option. There are a 2 options, The first is a all inclusive option that includes a 6 meter canvas bell tent, king-size tall air mattress, air mattress topper, all the sheets and bedding, inflatable couch, tables lights and more! The second option is to just use the bell tent. Ask me about it for all the details!
The Waterfall site has a pull through and The max size of camper will be 33 foot with a max height of 12+ foot because you will be pulling under a power line. But others sizes can fit here, I've had two large 5th wheel campers in there before Text me with any questions!
The Creekside site also has full hook ups for campers but its a back in. This site is only for tents and smaller campers. I've had several big popup campers and a few 21 foot campers in there.
Large groups are welcome. I've had a group of 30 and there was room for more! I've had dozens of groups of 10+
Your best rate would be booking directly with me using Venmo. I've had hundreds book that way with zero problems!
The Tribe here is opening a recreational cannabis dispensary April 20th 2024. If that's something you'd be interested in then its just 3 miles from the campground

Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 12pm.
There is a house and a church on the same road so please drive slowly.
Campers that reserve the "Creekside" site will not be permitted to go on the "Waterfall" site to view the waterfall. The same goes with the "Creekside" site. Campers at the "Waterfall" site will not be permitted on the "Creekside" site. If this happens they will be evicted
No shooting firearms, (although you may hear people shooting firearms because you will be camping in the mountains) but your more than welcome to bring your firearms. Its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
No fireworks.
Since this may no longer be a "1 site" campground if you want to bring your dog it will need to be with you and leashed. If you know your dog is a "barker" meaning you know your dog will constantly bark at other campers then do not book the site.
There will now be "quiet hours" since you maybe sharing the property with other campers. It will be after 11pm.
Please keep the gate closed at all times
No making trails or collecting firewood (This is not because I want to sell you firewood, its because I want to have the property remain as pristine as possible)
Do not cut down trees alive or dead
If you move picnic tables please move them back, there's only one of me and I cant move them back alone
The water maybe frozen or shut off in freezing temps. The shower and toilets will be removed during freezing weather. A portable toilet will be provided during these times
Dogs are permitted but contact before you book the site to confirm if your dog will be allowed. I charge for dogs the same as I do for extra guests.
